In July 2026, Jo collaborated with the York Mystery Plays, creating both the official map for the wagon plays and an illustrated map tracing the original pageant route through York as it was performed in the 1300s.
To celebrate the plays re-enacted that year, Jo also created a collection of original linocut prints inspired by each performance. Each design was informed by extensive research into medieval imagery, drawing inspiration from illuminated manuscripts and stained glass windows of the period. The resulting prints combine historical authenticity with Jo’s distinctive printmaking style, bringing the stories of the York Mystery Plays to a contemporary audience while honouring their medieval origins.
